If the administrator accounts added are from a different Microsoft Active Directory Domain than the user accounts, but the administrator accounts in Microsoft Active Directory also contain the same email address as the user accounts, then the BlackBerry Administration Service will allow the user to be added twice. This is because the administrator account is in a different Microsoft Active Directory domain than the user account. If the user object in the Administrator Microsoft Active Directory Domain had no email address associated, then the administrator account would be created with no email address, and there would be no confusion by the EMWS service when it attempts to locate the valid user object in the database during enrollment. BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.1.3 does not add the user's email address to the database, so this issue would not happen unless there were some historical data from an earlier version of BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 that did load the administrator's email address from Microsoft Active Directory. However, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 version 10.2 does add the user's email address to the database, and updates the database on a regular schedule from information in Active Directory. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
